Hallen has particular expertise in performing work in densely populated
urban environments, a task which presents many challenges. We have been
working with the major utilities that distribute natural gas and steam
in the New York Metropolitan area for many years. The core of the utility
work includes expansion of the networks, as well as the maintenance, repair,
and upgrade of existing infrastructure. The work includes construction
of steel and plastic mains and services carrying pressures from 1/4 psi
to 1400 psi installed in an open trench, complete with paving restoration,
as well as keyhole work utilizing our vacuum excavation equipment. We install
governor regulators, multiple utilities in a common trench, and concrete
vaults, which may be pre-cast or field constructed. Our well
trained personnel and our very up-to-date fleet of equipment are available for emergency
response 24/7.
